Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the Internal Auditor position that has arisen within the organisation.

Duties And Responsibilities

Reporting to the Audit Manager, the successful candidate shall inter-alia be responsible for the following:

Conduct risk assessment of assigned department or functional area within required timeline.

Determine scope of review, plan, design and establish risk-based audit programs.

Coordinating with management, accountants, and staff of various departments, depots and divisions to obtain information necessary for internal auditing staff to conduct their audit

Tracking the progress of audits; providing technical assistance to Audit Assistants in compiling, drafting, and completing audits.

Conducting and participating in financial audits, operational audits, compliance audits, business improvement audits and information technology for urban and country depots, and departments.

Spearhead entrance and exit conferences and drafting comprehensive and complete reports of audited areas.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance or Audit and Risk Management.
• A professional qualification such as CIA, ACCA, CIMA or CISA.
• Proven knowledge of SAGE Pastel ERP system
• At least 5 years auditing experience.
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
