Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the Marketing and Public Relations Manager position that has arisen within the organisation.

Duties And Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate shall inter-alia be responsible for the following:

Overseeing the development of the company's marketing and communications strategy.

Creating marketing plans to attract customers.

Creating and managing the marketing and public relations budget.

Creating and promoting awareness for company's products or services.

Fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

Ensuring that the company's publications, advertisements, and digital content reach the target audience.

Ensuring all internal and external communication is in line with company standards.

Managing the company social media accounts and the website.

Developing marketing materials.

Overseeing all digital and traditional marketing.

With the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, handling all interaction with the media including press briefings and any media enquiries..

Ensuring all documents meant for public domain are current, accurate and properly reflect desired messaging.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/ Media/ Marketing.
• Master’s Degree in Journalism/ Media/ Marketing will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Graphic Designing is an advantage.
• At least 2 years relevant experience in Media and Marketing or transport industry.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
