Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the ICT Manager position that has arisen within our organization.
Duties And Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate shall inter-alia be responsible for the following:
- Developing and implementing ICT strategies aligned with ZUPCO’s business objectives.
- Conducting market research and technology trend analysis.
- Managing ICT infrastructure such as networks, servers, storage, databases and hardware.
- Ensuring business continuity through disaster recovery and other appropriate back up systems.
- Liaising with external support companies on all ICT related matters.
- Developing and implementing ICT security policies and procedures.
- Assisting in providing ICT support and training to users within the organisation.
- Evaluating and recommending new technologies that enable the growth of ZUPCO.
- Ensuring that senior management is kept abreast with relevant ICT business developments.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any relevant field.
- Practical experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of information systems
- Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of SAGE PASTEL 200 ERP System is an advantage.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
